WARSAW OPERA WEEKEND
All year round except of July and August

1 day – Transfer from the Warsaw airport to Sofitel Victoria Hotel 5* ideally located, close to the Old Town and the main tourist attractions. Elegant and prestigious hotel holds two restaurants, bar, night club, casino, swimming pool, sauna, solarium. Each room is air conditioned and equipped with a radio, Tv sat, telephone, internet acces and mini bar.
Afternoon and evening at leisure. The area is dotted with little cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, museums and art galleries.

2 day – After rich buffet breakfast, start of the panoramic tour of Warsaw in coach. First walking tour passing by the Castle Square, King Sigismund’s Column, St.John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square with its beautiful period burgher houses and the narrow streets, the Barbican. By bus you pass the Royal Route with its aristocratic residences, churches and famous statues. The route runs by University of Warsaw, Church of Wizytki – the place of Chopin’s first public concert and the Holy Cross church – where lays the composer’s heart. You visit the historical sites – the Ghetto Memorial, the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Grand Theatre, the Belvedere Palace and £azienki Park where you take a stroll to see the picturesque Palace on the Water,Amfitheatre and Chopin Monument.

A delightful evening at the GRAND THEATRE OF OPERA AND BALLET - one of the finest theatres of its kind with the largest stage in the world. The most famous and magnificent classical and contemporary performances: CARMEN, HALKA, TRAVIATA, NABUCCO, AIDA, TURANDOT, RIGOLETTO, GISELLE, SWAN LAKE, ONEGIN or MADAME BUTTERFLY.
